As it is a tradition since the First Mexican Robotics® Tournament in 2008, the competition of Beach Cleaner Robots is held. It seeks to help solve the problem of accumulation of garbage on the beaches of Mexico and around the world, raise awareness in society of this serious problem, and invite it to take concrete actions for its solution.
The organizers of the competition of Beach Cleaners Robots constantly seek to renew the challenges, as well as incorporate recent technologies that can help meet the challenges.
Restrictions
The category of Beach Cleaner Robots is very popular in the Mexican Robotics Tournament and in recent years the number of registered teams has been growing. In order to offer adequate working conditions and competence, as well as to duly attend to competitors, in 2017 a limit was established on the number of teams that may participate in this category. There will be a limit of equipment (to be confirmed) that may participate in the category, regardless of the level at which they are registered. There is no limit on the number of teams to register by the same institution, the first teams that register can do so until the maximum capacity of space for the competition is completed. Please take this information into account to ensure your participation in the TMR 2018, category of Beach Cleaner Robots!
Teachers who accompany the team and who wish to have a diploma that recognizes their participation in the event, but do not require them to be assigned to the team work table, may register as mentors. The registration cost of the mentors is the same as that of the contestants.
