LARC Very Small Size Soccer

The Mexican Tournament of Robotics® (TMR) is associated with various international competitions, among which is the Latin American Robotics Competition (LARC) of the IEEE. For the first time, the IEEE Very Small Size Soccer category will be held in the TMR.
Review
The IEEE Very Small Size Soccer (VSSS) category consists of a football competition with cooperative and autonomous robots of three against three 7.5 cm robots on each side, which are controlled by a computer that runs autonomously during the match. Competitors must program a strategy previously that will be used during the two times that make up the match. Each team carries the camera they will use to concentrate the computer and to distinguish the robots on the court.
Restrictions
The maximum number of participants per team is 6 competitors.
For the TMR 2020, the presentation of the Team Description Paper (TDP) with the IEEE format is required (download link) and an extension of 4 to 6 pages.
Teachers who accompany the team and wish to have a diploma that recognizes their participation in the event may register as mentors. The cost of registration of the mentors is the same as that of the contestants. Mentors are not assigned a place on the team work table.

Introduction
In the IEEE Very Small Size Soccer two teams of 3 robots of up to 7.5 × 7.5 × 7.5cm play a soccer game. The robots are remotely controlled by a computer, but without human intervention. The computer processes the image of a video camera placed above the field and commands the robots.
Restrictions
To participate in IEEE VSSS, teams of up to 6 people can be registered.
