Robots Limpiadores de Playa
Las playas se encuentran a la suerte de diversos fenómenos naturales, como las mareas y los huracanes modificando y permitiendo diversos entornos bilógicos. Esta manera natural de permitir la vida está cada vez más marcada por la acción humana, como la generación y mal manejo de la basura, generación de residuos reciclables que no son tratados, descarga de aguas residuales, derrames de petróleo, modificación de ciclos biológicos y construcciones, entre otros.
Ante esta situación y como una manera de concientizar y contribuir a afrontar este problema, el TMR® 2020 convoca de nueva cuenta al reto clásico de Robots Limpiadores de Playa, consistente en detectar, colectar, transportar y depositar en un contenedor los “residuos” dispersos en una “isla” tropical de 6 x 12 m. El robot debe tener cuidado de no avanzar más allá de sus “costas” y caer al “mar”. En la “isla” se encuentra un “humano” al que, por supuesto, el robot no deberá lastimar.
Desde el Primer Torneo Mexicano de Robótica® en 2008, esta categoría 100% mexicana se ha celebrado ininterrumpidamente buscando fomentar una conciencia ecológica en la sociedad, invitando a la comunidad roboticista a proponer soluciones concretas al grave problema de acumulación de basura en las playas de México y de todo el mundo.
A través de sus 12 años de vida, el Torneo de Robots Limpiadores de Playa ha sido testigo de los avances en el diseño y desempeño de las propuestas, estando convencidos de que ha tenido un impacto positivo en los participantes y en las instituciones de donde provienen, dando como resultado que en los últimos años se ha incrementado el número de equipos que desean participar.
IMPORTANTE: Por lo anterior y para mantener la calidad y el nivel de atención que merecen los participantes de la competencia, se establece un LIMITE DE REGISTRO DE 20 EQUIPOS, cada uno de ellos formado por no más de 6 de participantes. El listado de los equipos participantes se conformará respetando estrictamente el orden de registro. ¡Por favor tomen en cuenta esta información para asegurar su participación en el TMR 2020, categoría de Robots Limpiadores de Playa!
Los profesores que acompañan al equipo y que desean contar con un diploma que reconozca su participación en el evento, pero que no requieren que se les asigne lugar en la mesa de trabajo del equipo, podrán inscribirse como mentores. El costo de inscripción de los mentores es el mismo que el de los concursantes.

Faced with this situation and as a way to raise awareness and contribute to addressing this problem, TMR® 2020 reconvenes the classic Beach Cleaner Robots Challenge, consisting of detecting, collecting, transporting and depositing in a container the “waste” dispersed in a tropical “island” of 6 x 12 m. The robot must be careful not to move beyond its “coasts” and fall into the “sea”. On the “island” is a “human” who, of course, the robot should not hurt.
Since the First TMR, (Mexican Robotics Tournament®) in 2008, this 100% Mexican category has been held continuously seeking to promote ecological awareness in society, inviting the roboticist community to propose concrete solutions to the serious problem of garbage accumulation on the beaches of Mexico and around the world.
These 12 years of life of the TMR-Beach Cleaner Robots Challenge have witnessed the progress in the design and performance of the proposals, being convinced that it has had a positive impact on the participants and the institutions where they come from, resulting in the increase in the number of teams that wish to participate in recent years.
IMPORTANT: Therefore, in order to maintain the quality and level of attention that the participants of the competition deserve, a REGISTRATION LIMIT OF 20 TEAMS is established, each of them formed by no more than 6 participants.
The list of participating teams will be compliant in strict accordance with the order of registration. Please take this information into account to ensure your participation in the TMR 2020- Beach Cleaner Robots Challenge!
Teachers who accompany the team and who wish to have a diploma that recognizes their participation in the event, but does not require that they be assigned a place in the team’s work table, may register as mentors. The cost of registration of mentors is the same as that of the contestants.
