A trav\u00e9s de este medio hacemos de su conocimiento que el 1er lugar en la Categor\u00eda de Drones Aut\u00f3nomos del TMR2020 obtendr\u00e1 la calificaci\u00f3n directa para participar en las competencias del International Micro Air Vehicle Conference and Competitions (IMAV 2020).<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

El IMAV es un evento anual que re\u00fane a cient\u00edficos, tecn\u00f3logos y entusiastas de todo el mundo interesados en la investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de los veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos peque\u00f1os.  Por primera vez, la IMAV se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en latinoam\u00e9rica. Organizado por INAOE, la UDLAP y la BUAP, la 12va edici\u00f3n de la IMAV 2020, se realizar\u00e1 en M\u00e9xico, en el estado de Puebla, del 16 al 20 de Noviembre de 2020.<\/div>\n

Asistir a la IMAV 2020 ofrece la oportunidad de interactuar con distinguidos investigadores del m\u00e1s alto prestigio  en el \u00e1rea de veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos peque\u00f1os, quienes participan en este evento ya sea como ponentes magistrales, presentando art\u00edculos de investigaci\u00f3n o como participantes en las competencias. La competencia Drones Aut\u00f3nomos tiene por objetivo el desarrollo de drones que puedan volar de manera aut\u00f3noma y, mediante algoritmos de inteligencia artificial, puedan ejecutar acciones que les permitan resolver misiones de vuelo tales como: evadir obst\u00e1culos, seguir objetos, volar de manera aut\u00f3noma un circuito de ventanas, entre otras. Es una categor\u00eda \u00fanica y se admiten equipos con miembros desde nivel preparatoria acompa\u00f1ados con un mentor, licenciatura o posgrado (no es obligatorio tener un mentor, pero s\u00ed un l\u00edder de equipo).<\/p>\n

Restricciones<\/strong><\/p>\n

Para participar en Drones Aut\u00f3nomos se podr\u00e1n inscribir m\u00e1ximo 10 equipos con hasta 5 participantes incluyendo al mentor. Se compite utilizando cualquier tipo de dron, seg\u00fan se indica en el reglamento respectivo. Sin embargo, el dron no podr\u00e1 exceder un per\u00edmetro de 1 metro, tomando la medici\u00f3n m\u00e1s larga desde la punta de una h\u00e9lice a otra h\u00e9lice.<\/p>\n

Los profesores que acompa\u00f1an al equipo y que desean contar con un diploma que reconozca su participaci\u00f3n en el evento, pero que no requieren que se les asigne lugar en la mesa de trabajo del equipo, podr\u00e1n inscribirse como mentores. El costo de inscripci\u00f3n de los mentores es el mismo que el de los concursantes.<\/p>\n

El resultado obtenido en el Torneo Mexicano de Rob\u00f3tica NO da derecho a participar en alguna liga internacional.<\/p>\n

Hereby we announce that the winner of the 1st Place in the Autonomous Drone Category of the Mexican Tournament in Robotics 2020, will be granted a direct qualification to participate in the competitions of the International Micro Air Vehicle Conference and Competitions (IMAV 2020). <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The IMAV is an annual international event bringing together scientists, technologists and enthusiasts on the research and technological development of micro-air vehicles. For the first time ever, the IMAV will be organized in Latin America. Organised by INAOE, UDLAP and BUAP, the 12th IMAV 2020 will be held in Mexico, in the State of Puebla, between the 16th to the 20th of November, 2020. Attending the IMAV 2020 offers the opportunity to interact with highly recognized researchers in the field of micro-air vehicles, who participate in this event either as keynote speakers, presenting research and technical papers or as team members participating in the competitions. This a competition whose goal is the development and implementation of drones that can fly autonomously, this is, without human intervention. To achieve the latter, it is expected that competitors make use of algorithms based on artificial intelligence such that drones become able to perform flight missions such as: obstacle avoidance, object tracking and following, autonomous flight through a gate track, among others. This is a unique category that allows competitors from highschool (coached by a mentor), undergraduate or postgraduate level. For higher levels to highschool a mentor is not required by a team leader should sign up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n

To participate in the Category of Autonomous Drones, a maximum number of 10 teams can registered in the competition, each team may register up to 5 team mates, including the mentor\/leader. Any drone model can be used in the competition as far as it complies with the competition rules. However, a drone can not exceed a diameter of 1 metre, considering the diagonal distance from one propeler to the other.<\/p>\n

Teachers acompanying the team and who wish to have a certificate of participation in the vent, but who do not require a seat in the team’s working place, may register as mentors. The registration cost of mentors is the same as team members.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the result obtained in this competition, within the Mexican Tournament in Robotics, does not grant the right to participate in any international league.<\/p>\n
