He must be able to carry out the rescue mission in a totally autonomous manner without human intervention. The robot must be strong and smart enough to navigate through dangerous terrain with hills, uneven terrain and debris without getting stuck.<\/p>\n<p>There are three subcategories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rescue Line<\/strong> <strong>(Line Rescue): <\/strong>An autonomous robot must follow a black line while overcoming different problems in a modular arena formed by frames with different patterns. The floor is white and the squares are on different levels connected by ramps. The rules for the 2020 tournament in France are already published, which will be the same as for the Mexican Robotics Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>These rules can be consulted in <a href=\"https:\/\/junior.robocup.org\/rescue\/\">https:\/\/junior.robocup.org\/rescue\/<\/a>. To clarify the rules and share knowledge in the Mexican Robotics Tournament, you can create an account at <a href=\"https:\/\/comunidad.femexrobotica.org\/\">https:\/\/comunidad.femexrobotica.org\/<\/a> and start a new conversation within the RoboCupJunior Rescue forum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equipment limit per institution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each institution can register the following number of teams for each Junior Category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum 1 team per sub-league in Rescue Line and Rescue Maze.<\/li>\n<li>Maximum 2 teams per sub-league in all Soccer and OnStage sub-leagues.<\/li>\n<li>The number of devices in Rescue Simulation will not be limited.<\/li>\n<li>The institution that has obtained first place in each subcategory of the last tournament (TMR2019) and has submitted its participation report in RoboCup 2019 Sydney (Australia) obtains the right to register one more team in that same subcategory.
