The Mexican Robotics Tournament (TMR)<\/strong> <\/em>is organized annually by the\u00a0Mexican Federation of Robotics AC<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(FMR) since 2008 in collaboration with some of the most important educational institutions in the country.<\/p>\n

These are the institutions that have hosted this tournament:<\/p>\n

In this 2018 issue, the Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey campus Monterrey<\/strong><\/em> Y ProRob\u00f3tica Foundation of Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/strong><\/em> they will be responsible for receiving the participants at TMR 2018 - Monterrey.<\/p>\n

As usual, the TMR consists of the categories LARC Standard Educational Kit (SEK), LARC Open Challenge, Beach Cleaners, RoboCup Junior OnStage (formerly Dance), RoboCup Junior Soccer, RoboCup Junior Rescue, RoboCup Humanoid KidSize, Robocup Standard Platform League, Robocup @Home and RoboCup Major Rescue. Some of these categories correspond to compulsory national qualifiers to attend the Latin American Robotics Competition and the RoboCup World Cup.<\/p>\n

During the three days of the tournament participants have the opportunity to test their robotic designs applying their knowledge and skills to make decisions and solve theoretical-practical problems of the competition. At the same time they can meet other students from the country and exchange ideas and experiences. Thus, the TMR promotes the integral training of the participants and the creation of future collaborative networks in robotics and related disciplines.<\/p>\n

The participation of students of all educational levels (from primary to postgraduate and consolidated research groups) increases year by year. This constant success is possible thanks to the growing interest of the country's student community in robotics issues. Another important role is the accumulated experience of the FMR in the organization of multiple regional, national and international events such as the IEEE Latin American Robotics Competition 2004, the RoboCup World Cup 2012, the Beach and Sea Robot Competition in 2014 and the Winter Schools of Robotics In addition, the decisive commitment of each of the host institutions with the organization of this event and with the education of the country is fundamental.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
